Music isn't something you hear, it's something you feel. I like music because songs say what I can't.

I saw Thirty Seconds to Mars live

And so, I am in a post-concert state of mind - meaning I am depressed, but burst into fangirl fits once i a while. It was Friday night in the Danish amusement park Tivoli. It was two very amazing hours. My friends and I arrived at three o'clock meaning we could pick our sport right in the middle in second row.

It was 7 long hours of waiting and then they finally got our on stage. They opened with the intro 'Birth' to their new album 'LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS' and the crowd went crazy. It really seemed like Jared was impressed by the (I guess) 3-4.000 people dancing and singing along to their songs. During 'Search and Destroy' Jared had to stop the song To say (and I quote) "This audience is fucking crazy"

They were shooting for a new Music video. I guess they will be doing something along the line with 'Closer to the Edge'. And after the concert they were interviewing some fans, asking them questions like 'What is lust to you?". I wasn't one those people, but I'm looking forward to the result. They were also shooting in Copenhagen city. In a place called 'Nyhavn' [New harbour]. It's a really nice place with afternoon bars and restaurants and really pretty and old buildings with the canal right next to it (Simple Plan filmed there as well when they were in Denmark).

So... Second row. That was close. A really great sight to the stage. The only thing wrong was this one woman (around 40 years old) who kept pushing and pushing. She wasn't from Denmark (we have better manners than that ;) ), no but whenever people asked her to stop pushing she just said that it wasn't her problem and she couldn't do anything about it. I understand that there was no room, but she literally pushed me backwards, so I almost fell. Luckily my best friend Laura was there to catch me :)

Here is a picture I took:
You see how close I was. It's not zoomed in or anything.

The band and the crew also took some pictures: you can actually see my friend on the first row in this one:
This one is on the band's Instagram and facebook (and so on). My friend is in the white shirt in the middle :)

So to sum up: An amazing night, but with aching body parts and back problems from all the pushing.

FAME!

...I'm gonna live forever.

So I went to see FAME this weekend. It was a "local" production, but when I say local, I mean that this group has a lot of sponsors to support them - so they are almost professional. I actually think it's a combination between amature theatre and a professional production. The actors, singers and dancers are all kids my age. I was actually given the opportunity to audition for this play. but decided to be in my school's production of The Lion King instead.

It was a really amazing performance and you could really see that they have been working since the fall.

I'm adding a link from one of their "teasers", instead of their actual show, because I couldn't find any of those. I know people recorded it on their phones, I sat right behind a woman who was doing that.

They are dancing to 'Hard Work' and 'Fame'. Enjoy:

Trommen's "teaser" of FAME!

And then just imagine that on the real stage, with the right lights and the right music and the real costumes.
I really enjoyed it. What did you think? Have you seen FAME on broadway or else where live? What is your favorite musical? Mine are still We Will Rock You and American Idiot.

Please leave a comment below :)

I wish you a nice day.

Somewhere in Neverland

To start my All Time Low ramp I will begin with their new music video (not the newest though): 'Somewhere in Neverland'.

I think it is so cute. Really.

I showed it to my best friend and her face was the exact same as mine the first time I saw it: A big smile and lights in our eyes.

I love the art of the video and the storyline. It is so "pretty" compared to other All Time Low music videos.

Whoever the girl is, she's very pretty and very lucky. It looks like they had fun making this video, and I think that's an important thing.

Enjoy, you will like it:

Long time, no see

It's a long time since I've talked to you guys, but I've been so so busy with school. Now I only have a week left. One week, and I don't have to go to school anymore. I just need my exams to be overwith and I'll graduate in little over a month.
Danish school system can be confusing to others, yes.

But since last time I wrote, I have been keeping up with my music interests - and I have to say that All Time Low has been on my mind a lot of the time.

I'm not gonna review anything now, cuz' I'm in English class, but when I get home :)
I promise.

We Will FREAKING Rock You

Wanna hear about my day yesterday? Huh? Huh? Well you have no choice.
I went to see We Will Rock You the musical in Copenhagen yesterday. And I was blown away!!!!
It was like I was high, but I wasn't. Amazing feeling. Like when you go to a concert - except this wasn't a concert - this was a musical. And no it is SO not the same thing...

But anyways... In the end BRIAN MAY steps out on the scene and starts his guitar solo in We Will Rock You (the song). I screamed so hard. Funny thing is that my mom was on my left side and some old dude was on my right. I felt a little misplaced, but that didn't matter because Brian freaking May was performing in front of me.

Legendary night :D

And for the musical. I loved the costumes and the dances and the lights and the actors and the actresses and the lead actor and and actress. (the lead actor was freaking cute - sadly I don't remember his name). Overall a musical worth seeing.

I give it 5/5 stars :)

30 Seconds to Mars and Paramore

They are both coming to Denmark. I am SO going to see them both. And the best part: I don't have to go to school the next day, either of the days because of summer vacation. You heard it. I'm gonna see both 30STM and Paramore.

And suddenly all of my friends wants to go with me. I'm so excited. Now I just need tickets.

I'll get back to you with the awesome experiences :D

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

I'm attending my first show tonight. It's too exciting.
I've heard something about a "virgin"-ritual. Am I supposed to be scared?

Well. I'm going as Columbia. I've got my glitter on ;)

I've watched the movie, but it didn't make sense to me. I guess that's the whole point...

My favorite song is "Sweet Transvestite". I knew it before I knew it was from that movie.
I'm a bi fan of Supernatural, and Mark Pellegrino sang it at a karaoke. It was awesome :D
