Music isn't something you hear, it's something you feel. I like music because songs say what I can't.

HELL YEAH Kevin Smith!

I just spend the last 2 hours listening to this ah-ma-zing broadcast interview with Kevin Smith. He interviewed Gerard and Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance and they talked about literally everything. As a fan I was enchanted throughout the whole show. I can't begin to explain how great this interview is. Watch it. I recommend it.

(and if you don't know who Kevin Smith is: Shame on you. Go look him up. I would say start on IMDB, then YouTube)

>>Listen to Kevin Smith have a playdate with Mikey & Gerard Way. You'll hear things about their past you've never heard before.
The episode, co-written by Gerard is called "Anti-Bats Are Go" and he describes it as "the Superman II version of The Aquabats." The episode features a thrashcore band called Asthma, and Mikey Way makes his acting debut playing the singer. The brothers also discuss the challenges of writing music after being on the road for an extended period of time and how that translated to 2010's Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, the their musical upbringings, including the music they listened to when they were young and their first bands: an instrumental metal band pronounced "Drakkora," a Rites Of Spring and Promise Ring-esque band, Raygun Jones, and a punk band called Nancy Drew.<<

Punk

Just saw this picture and thought you should see it. This is how I think sometimes:

(It says: PUNK. Because having your style doesn't mean being a bad influence)

That is so true. My mom keeps telling me to be careful not to look like a punker. Why? I have my own style, and I don't even think it's punk-like. I can't identify my style, I wear what I like!

I don't think it's cool to always follow the latest trends. I think it's better to just be comfortable with the clothes you already love. Am I right?

Of coarse people can change styles, but I don't think you should  hate the way you look if its not how the majority look.

CARPE DIEM

According to Wikipedia "Carpe diem is a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace that has become an aphorism. It is popularly translated as 'seize the day' ". Just thought that people who didn't know that should know that.

I'm writing this because Green Day is stuck in my head. So that's nothing bad. It's from their new album "¡Uno!" and if you haven't guessed it already it's called "Carpe Diem". Surprise :D

Even though this album hasn't received the best critic, I still think it's good. When one of your favorite bands goes for one certain direction, you have to trust it's the right decision. Maybe they want something out of it, and maybe it will lead to something extraordinary. I don't see why a lot of Green Day fans are so disappointed with this album. I think it's a classic Green Day.
But maybe that's it. Maybe the fans don't think it's original enough. Yes I also think that some of the songs sounds A LOT like some of their earlier songs, but I liked them, so why shouldn't I like the new ones?

I hope you all had a great weekend.

Oh. It's gonna be a BIG bang

So yesterday I got really hooked (for some reason) on Rock Mafia's 'The Big Bang'.
I think I heard it like 5 times in a row. I was dancing weirdly trying (which is the main word in this sentence) to sing along and celebrating that I felt better after a day with illness.

You should have seen me. You would have laughed!

So here it is. I just wanna make you happy - and this song makes me happy :D (see really HAPPY :D :D )

Rock Mafia: The Big Bang

What a lovely song, huh? ;)

Maybe it has something to do with the gorgeous Kevin Zeegers <3 (playing Alec in The Mortal Instruments  City of Bones)

Tonight I'm going out with some of the best girls in the world. We are gonna have dinner at a nice restaurant and then we'll go watch the new Twilight movie. GIRLS NIGHT OUT. It's gonna be a BIG bang (not literally)
